Sherman Oaks is a coveted neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles, California located in the San Fernando Valley, founded in 1927, and adjacent to Studio City. The neighborhood includes a portion of the Santa Monica Mountains, which gives Sherman Oaks a lower population density than some other areas in Los Angeles. There has been a ton of growth in Sherman Oaks with the addition of some of the best restaurants and shops in town. You still get the city vibe and access while also feeling like you are in a beautiful suburb just on the other side of the hill from the hustle and bustle. Take Coldwater Canyon over the hill and you can be in Beverly Hills in just 20 minutes or hop on the 405 and head to the beach for the day!
