DMF met with the owner of 35 years to evaluate the property and develop a marketing strategy. The owner seemed determined to inject $50,000 into the property with the intention of selling. We challenged this approach as we knew that the house would still appear to need updating after the owners renovation. With a target market in mind, our suggestion was a light facelift which ended up costing $12,000 and netting the owner a substantial amount of money!
